Meet The Staff
Linda A. Browne
Teaching AssociateLinda A. Browne joined the Huffington Library Staff in 1993 and has been team teaching Information Literacy I with Deborah Foley since 1996. From 1984-1993 Linda worked in the Academy Accounting Department. Linda received her bachelor’s degree in education from Albion College and completed graduate work at the University of Virginia and IUPUI. Prior to coming to Culver Linda taught elementary school in Richmond, Indiana and Fairfax, Virginia, and established the tutoring program at the South Carolina Children’s Home in Columbia, South Carolina. Linda has served on the Batten Scholars’ Committee since 2001, Culver’s Technology Integrators since 2007 and attends the annual National Educational Computing Conference. Linda and her husband, Major William Browne, Culver Academies Fine Arts Dept., came to Culver in 1981. They have two children, Amy CGA ’94 and Michael CMA ’97, and two grandchildren.
