Ms. McKay joined Culver in July of 2012. A member of Phi Beta Kappa, she earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia, with a double major in English and Philosophy, and went on to earn a Master’s degree in English, also at UVa. Ms. McKay later earned another Master’s degree, this time in Library and Information Science from Drexel University, where she was inducted into Beta Phi Mu, the International Honor Society for Library Science. At Culver, Ms. McKay teaches Digital Citizenship and helps out with the Equestriennes.

Prior to coming to Culver, Ms. McKay worked as the Director of Library Services and Upper School English teacher at Upland Country Day School in Kennett Square, PA. While there, she served on the Technology and Curriculum Committees, oversaw the school’s website, and was a yearbook advisor.
