Meet The Faculty
Stacey Warren holds a B.M.E. degree in Choral General from DePauw University, and an M.M. with Honors in Opera Theatre Performance from Northwestern University. Stacey also studied voice at Indian University with Martha Lipton, and attended the National Music Camp at Interlochen, Michigan.
Stacey first came to Culver to teach voice and direct the Upper Camp Chapel Choir the summer of 1981 and 1982, and joined the winter school faculty in the fall of 1996 as instructor of Voice. She assumed responsibility of Choral Director in 2003, and was promoted to Master Instructor in 2007.
Stacey is a member of Mu Phi Epsilon National Music Honorary, the Indiana Choral Directors Association, and served as rehearsal conductor and soloist for the Ancilla College Community Chorus performance of Vivaldi’s Gloria with the South Bend Chamber Symphony. She is a former member of the Indianapolis Symphonic Choir, under the direction of Dr. James Bagwell, and the South Bend Chamber Singers, under the direction of Dr. Nancy Menk.
Stacey has been selected for inclusion in Who’s Who in American Teachers, Who’s Who in American Women, and the National Honor Roll’s Outstanding American Teachers. At Culver, she has served on the Montgomery Lecture Series and Disciplinary Committees, and is a current member of the Duchossois Scholarship Committee. She recently was named an Exemplar Fellow.
