Jill Tulchinsky joined the Culver Academies’ Department of Fine Arts in 1981. She earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Anthropology with a concentration in Dance from Indiana University, Bloomington, in 1974. Her area of study and teaching interests include Ballet, Pointe, and choreography. Mrs. Tulchinsky teaches Dance Workshop, Ballet and Pointe classes. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Mrs. Tulchinsky is a Director of Dancevision, Culver’s performing ensemble which gives Concerts, twice yearly in Epply Auditorium. She lives in South Bend where she is the Artistic Director of the Conservatory of Dance. Mrs. Tulchinsky is married to Terry, a Social Studies teacher, and they have two children, both of whom have been employed by Culver in Winter or Summer School.
