Corky Miller-Strong, a native of Shaker Heights, Ohio, joined the Culver Academies as Director of College Advising in the fall 2005. Corky earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education from Bowling Green State University where she also received her Master’s of Education in School Counseling. She has 35 years of college admissions, financial aid and scholarship experience at the high school and college level. Prior to arriving at The Culver Academies, she served as Director of College Advising at The Alexander Dawson School in Colorado and The Columbus School for Girls in Ohio. She also served as Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions at Bowling Green State University. Her hobbies include gardening, sewing, singing, reading, sports and working with students and parents during the college admissions process.
