Brian Rodgers joined the Culver Academies’ College Advising Office in 2007. A native Californian, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from California State University Chico in 1986 and his teaching credentials from San Diego State University in 1987. He earned a M.ED in Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2005. Prior to arriving at Culver Academies, he was a counselor and taught physical education and health at five different international schools in Japan, China, the Philippines and Thailand for sixteen years. Between his overseas work, Brian taught and coached football and baseball at Berkeley Preparatory School in Tampa, Florida. In addition to his college advising responsibilities, Mr. Rodgers is an assistant coach for the CGA varsity basketball team and head coach of the CGA junior varsity basketball team. He is married to Esmeralda and together they have three children.
