The Reverend Johanna McCune Wagner became the Director of Spiritual Life on July 1, 2008. She coordinates the department’s various programs and services and provides pastoral care to the Culver community.

A graduate of Bryn Mawr College, with Masters degrees from Cornell University and Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, Reverend Wagner is an ordained Presbyterian minister. She comes to Culver from western Massachusetts, where she served as a school chaplain and the co-pastor of a Congregational church. 

Rev. Wagner is currently pursuing her Doctor of Ministry at Duke University, in a program focused on Leadership in the Christian Tradition.
