Sherri L. Mayfield joined the Culver Academies’ Academic Skills Center in 1984. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Education from Ball State University and her master's degree in Education from Indiana University. Her areas of study and teaching include both elementary and secondary education. She currently serves as Director of the Academic Skills Center. Prior to arriving at Culver Academies, she taught for five years in the Kokomo School Corporation, Kokomo, Indiana. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, Sherri also supervises the ASC Peer Coaching Program and serves on the Student Records and Learning Support Committees. Sherri and husband Anthony T. Mayfield ’65, Director of Culver Summer Schools & Camps, are parents of MAJ Ryan G. Mayfield W'89, NB'92, '94, and Allison Brooke Oak W'92, SS'95, '97.
