Since Culver educates its students for leadership and responsible citizenship through an integrated curriculum, it is clear that class attendance is critical for academic success. When a student misses class for any reason, he or she loses valuable instructional time, as well as the opportunity to process the material covered in class.

However, the school recognizes that class absences are sometimes unavoidable. Leaves of absence, school-sponsored travel, or illness may result in missed class.
