Six years ago Hurricane Katrina hit the coast of Louisiana. Even several years after the hurricane hit, Katrina's devastation is still evident. On this mission trip we had the opportunity to help fix this destruction. Working with Habitat for Humanity for five days we built homes and helped families to restore their lives in New Orleans. This trip was a great opportunity to help fix the greatest domestic natural disaster of the decade.

Here we visited colonies of penguins at Kelly Tarlton's Antarctic Encounter & Underwater World, took a boat ride to Tiritiri Matangi Island to visit the famous open bird sanctuary, and visited Goat Island, New Zealand's first marine reserve, with optional snorkeling available.
