GSI Center
The Global Studies Institute Center is located on the lower level of the Huffington Library. It opened in August of 2006.
The Center houses the Director's office; provides work space for visiting dignitaries and scholars; and serves as home base for the Global Scholars, upper-class student leaders who assist the Director with the planning and operation of the Institute. The Center's lobby provides GSI guests, students, faculty, and alumni with an informal gathering place and a 48" high-definition television for 24 hr. news analysis.
Immediately adjacent to the GSI Center is the Huffington Presentation Room, a handsome, 50-seat facility for video-conferencing sessions with scholars, leaders, and VIP's from around the world. Culver's videoconferencing technology features AT&T broadcast quality reception. The Presentation Room also serves as a venue for GSI lectures, panel discussions, seminars, workshops, and other media presentations.Interior Design of the GSI Center by...
