Educational/Service/Cultural

The Croatia team will be traveling and working at different sites, including an astronomy camp, elementary school,  a bear cub shelter and a sustainable organic farm. Service projects will include painting, simple carpentry, landscaping and working with children and animals. Most of our service will focus on environmental issues and recycling. Educational sightseeing is planned for the afternoons.  We will visit 15 different towns, medieval castles and national parks. As part of the cross-cultural experience we will have local "slow food" tasting, a quiz-dinner with Croatian peers and some hiking excursions. There will be free time to explore in smaller groups.
