Global Pathways Spring Program
Gps Scholarships
GPS Scholarships
There will be a scholarship opportunity for one CGA student and one CMA cadet to receive $2,500 towards a Culver Global Pathways Spring program. There will be an additional $2,500 scholarship that will be decided by the mission trip scholarship committee and a $1,500 Westerman Foundation Scholarship for a student that wants to go on the Mexico Mission Trip. All students interested in these scholarships must fill out the Woodruff Scholarship application.
The applicants for the Stephen B. Woodruff '65 Global Pathways Spring program Scholarship (which can be freshman, sophomores, juniors or seniors) must submit a 1-2 page essay that describes their interests in a particular mission trip and why they embody the criteria and qualities that were important to the alumnus Stephen B. Woodruff. The criteria are:
- Applicant must demonstrate leadership skills
- Applicant must have the desire to be a leader in service to society and demonstrate a commitment to community service
- Applicant must be excited about learning from people who are different themselves
- Financial need will be considered
- Applicant must have an academic average of 2.8 or above

The essay and application must be emailed to Dean Lynn Rasch by 5:00 PM on Monday, October 15. A panel of judges will read the essays and winners of the scholarships will be determined by the results of the essay, application and the above criteria. Finalists will meet with the panel for a personal interview.
