Alex Mies joined Culver Academies in August 2010 as intern in the Humanities Department, and is returning for another year as an intern for the 2011-2012 school year. Alex earned his Bachelors degree in history with a minor in psychology from the College of Wooster where he also played lacrosse.

A native of Birmingham, MI, Alex enjoys playing both hockey and lacrosse. When he is not on the ice or field, Alex enjoys collecting coins from all over the world.
