Culver has had a long history as a global institution. Culver is viewed as a school that values diversity and promotes global awareness. Our first international student and summer camper arrived in 1903, and since then many thousands more international young people have benefited from the Culver experience with its unique emphasis on leadership and character development. 

Culver offers an academic year program for grades 9-12. This program is through the Culver Military Academy (CMA) for boys and the Culver Girls Academy (CGA) for girls. Culver also offers a 6-week summer camp program for boys and girls ages 9 to 17 through the Culver Summer Schools & Camps (CSSC).

The academic year program through CMA and CGA offers a demanding curriculum while providing outstanding support for our international students. Our caring, well-trained faculty and staff are dedicated to helping international students succeed, and Culver’s international graduates have been admitted to top colleges and universities.

CSSC offers tremendous opportunities for young people from all over the world. Each summer we welcome over a thousand campers from around the globe. We are the largest camp dedicated to leadership and character development in the world.

Once a student or camper comes to Culver, they become part of our extended Culver family worldwide. Campers often decide to study here. International graduates often visit as alumni and many send their children here later or continue to support Culver in other ways.
