Founded in 1902, the Culver Summer Schools & Camps program is unique. It is a fun-filled, naturally beautiful 1800 acre setting where over 1300 young people from around the world, ages 9-17, develop positive self-esteem through accomplishment and self discipline. It is a high challenge-high support environment for learning leadership skills that improve personal confidence.

The Culver staff is committed to developing the whole person – mind, body and spirit – through personal reflection, individual counseling, small group experiences, unit and team activities, and participation in religious services. The interactive Culver experience, set in a leadership – military framework, provides an opportunity for young people of varied skill and experience levels to develop lifetime interests and lifelong friends.

In 1903, the first international summer camper came to Culver to spend his summer here.  Since then, Culver Summer Schools & Camps has continued to be the leading summer camp for leadership and character development for children from around the world.  Thousands of boys and girls have come from over 30 countries to spend their summers on our beautiful campus and lake.
