Darrell Knowlton joined the Culver Academies in June 2010 as the Licensed Clinical Social Worker for the Academies and Summer Camps. He is also the Director of Culver Assistance Program (CAP), which is a positive choice based program for our Winter School students. He has held social service based positions in the private, non-profit, and was a civil servant for many years.  Darrell’s most recent position was as program director of outpatient and substance abuse services at a community mental health facility. He has a B.S. in Criminal Justice from Central Missouri State and Masters in Social Work from Indiana University Northwest.  Since 2006 Darrell has been Culver Military Academies Head Rugby Coach.   His wife Janelle is a 5th grade teacher in their home town of Michigan City, IN and they have one son.
