Boarding School

Nurses are available 24 hours a day seven days a week to see any student(s) who may require medical care. Students may access the health center at any time during the day or night. If a student needs to come to the health center during the day when classes are in session they must first go to student life before reporting to the health center.

Summer Camp

During the six week summer camp the health center also staffs the Woodcraft Health Center and the Woodcraft Dispensing Center.

Hours for the Woodcraft Health Center are from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. 

The Dispensing Center operates daily from 6:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. and is staffed by a Registered Nurse to dispense medications to all Woodcraft campers that may require medications.

Sick Call

The Academy Physician also is available to see students during sick call hours:

Monday – Friday:  7:30 a.m. and 3:45 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday:  8 a.m. 

On Call

The health center is staffed by a nurse 24 hours a day, seven days a week for both boarding school and summer camps. The only time that a nurse is not available is during the holiday breaks and spring break. One of the Academy Physicians is always on call for both boarding school and summer camps. In addition to the Physicians being on call, our Psychological Services team members are available 24 hours a day.
