Culver’s Facilities Department is committed to providing facilities that are safe, comfortable, and conducive to an exceptional educational environment.

Culver Academies feature first class facilities spread over approximately 1,700 acres of picturesque landscape situated on the northern shore of Lake Maxinkuckee. The main campus grounds include various grades and surfaces, with man-made and natural amenities, including 1000 acres of forest, and open space on the periphery, all of which create an inviting and spectacular experience for residents and visitors to its campus.

Culver’s facilities are in excess of 1.5 million square feet, and its buildings are mainly Collegiate-Gothic architecture reminiscent of Western European styles from the Tudor period. In all, there are some 230 buildings/structures (primary, auxiliary and support) that contribute to the Culver experience and atmosphere. The Culver Educational Foundation provides and maintains varying facilities such as two ice rinks, horse stables and a riding hall, a dining hall, multiple dorms and barracks, a library, an auditorium, a chapel, a visual arts center, a rowing center, and classrooms/labs with unique types of support. Culver has a central powerhouse that provides electrical, heat, water, and natural gas utilities for the campus.
