Dining Hall

With the exception of only a few weeks each year, our dining hall staff serve balanced nutritional meals, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, year round to students, campers, faculty, and staff. Kitchen staff prepare food for over 800 students, faculty, and staff during the school year, as well as over 1300 campers and staff during the summer.

"Culver Food Service will offer balanced nutritional menu selections that support 'the development and nurturing of the whole individual' through programs that emphasis wellness."

Our principle states the following: Nutritious dietary choices are essential in maintaining a lifelong focus on wellness to achieve peak performance of mind, spirit, and body.

Food Service will:

1) Provide wholesome, palatable, nutritious food choices that support a diverse campus community.

2) Promote nutritional awareness by providing the informational displays and material in conjunction with wellness, health education, and residential life curricula.

3) Provide maximum satisfaction for our customers through efficient service and quality job performance.

4) Support dining hall student leadership programs, i.e. CMA Regimental Mess Officer, CGA Facilities Coordinator, and assigned student waiters and waitresses.

5) Support programs, which contribute to the broader life of the school community by providing quality catering services.

6) Ensure responsible stewardship of all goods and services to effectively maintain an annual balanced budget.

7) Continually evaluate future needs and provide effective techniques, methods, and operational procedures to assure continuous improvement.
