William F. Hargraves joined the Communications Department in December 2005. As director, his primary management responsibilities include overseeing all internal and external publications, brand and product design, public relations, student and event photography, and website communications. A 1977 graduate of Culver Military Academy, Bill returned to Culver with more than 15 years of marketing and business development experience at companies such as Frito-Lay and Mercedes-Benz. He earned a bachelor’s degree in applied science and engineering from the United States Military Academy in 1982 and an MBA at the Anderson Schools of Management in 1992.

Bill also serves as the assistant CGA Varsity Soccer coach. He and his wife Christy live in Plymouth and have four children, William NB '06, '08, Marvin NB '08, '10, Taylor '12, and Sarah.
