The Accounting Office is headed by the Controller. The Controller and accounting staff administer the financial and business operations of Culver Academies. The Controller is an elected officer of the trustees and a principal administrative officer who reports to the Head of Schools. The accounting office maintains all financial books and records, and its staff work with faculty, administrators and the board of trustees to ensure that future resources will meet the strategic plans of the Academies and those resources are used efficiently and effectively.

The responsibilities of the accounting office include budget administration; departmental accounting; the maintenance of endowment and current gift accounting, student/accounts receivable and accounts payable processing; cashiering, managing the fixed assets system, and all external and internal reporting including the necessary state and federal tax returns as well as the annual audit and report. The accounting staff members also maintain the endowment, current gift and plant assets, and provide information regarding fund balances upon request.
